2018 Set To Be Best Semester Yet

Just like our apprentices, at Semester Learning, we’re committed to continual growth and improvement to make sure that we’re always the best that we can be.
What a year – already!
Although we’re barely into April, 2018 has already been a big year for Semester. Although we don’t like to blow our own trumpet, here’s just a few things that have been happening since the new year:
We’re now ELCAS Approved
We’re delighted to confirm that Semester Learning is now an ELCAS Approved Centre. ELCAS (Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services) is an initiative to promote learning and funding for all serving and ex-forces members. Run by the Ministry of Defence (MOD), ELCAS helps military personnel to gain skills and qualifications both for their current posting and for their life after their military service. Our ELCAS ID and name is 8704; Semester Learning & Development and, you can check out our ELCAS courses and providers HERE.
We’re now award winners
Continuing from three award wins last year, Semester Learning has been named as Regional Finalist in the FSB UK Business Awards, in the category of Digital Business of the Year 2018. We’re very proud of everything we achieve at Semester for ourselves, our clients and our apprentices and it’s great to receive recognition from others – we’ll try not to let it go to our heads though!
We’re an IET Academic Affiliate
We’re incredibly proud to be able now to call ourselves an IET Affiliate. One of the world’s largest engineering institutions with over 168,000 members across the globe, The Institution of Engineering Technology (IET), promotes excellence and diversity in engineering technology – and so do we. We very much look forward to a long and successful affiliation with IET which will benefit both parties as well as our clients and apprentices.
At Semester, we’re always very much aware that the world – and industry – is fluid and constantly evolving; which is why we never stand still when there’s always more to do and learn. We have a whole host of new plans for the rest of 2018 and we can’t wait to see how they all unfold – and, of course, to telling you about them in our next update!
