Who is this course for?
Within Building Services Maintenance – Engineering maintenance there are a number of pathways which you can go down. Each pathway specifies a number of mandatory units, but they are all taken from the same core of units.

Handing Over and Confirming Completion of Maintenance Activities (T/600/5516)
Complying with Statutory Regulations and Organisational Safety Requirements (A/601/5013)
Using and Interpreting Engineering Data and Documentation (Y/601/5102)
Working Efficiently and Effectively in Engineering (K/601/5055)
Reading and Extracting Information from Service Drawings and Specifications (J/600/5469)
Carrying Out Fault Diagnosis on Services and Systems (R/600/5474)
Group B1 – Optional Units: (Plus 2 of the following units (140 Credits))(Choice of 13)
Maintaining Fresh Water Distribution Systems and Equipment
Maintaining Workplace Environmental Control Systems
Maintaining Heating and Ventilation Systems
Group B2 – Optional Units: (Plus 1 of the following units (38 Credits))(Choice of 3)
Carrying Out Condition Monitoring of Plant and Equipment
Carrying Out Preventative Planned Maintenance on Services Systems and Equipment
Assisting in the Installation of Engineering Services Equipment

How long do I get to complete this course?
You are allowed 18 months to complete Building Services Maintenance from registration. Your progress can be monitored in OneFile as we will program your start and finish dates. If you do not complete within the given time, you can extend on a unit by unit basis at the individual unit price.
